Beaming Louise Redknapp flashes her wedding ring after theatre debut

She couldn't wipe the grin off her face!

Louise Redknapp beamed proudly and looked happy as she left her Cabaret theatre debut with her wedding ring still firmly on.

The former Eternal singer didn’t appear to have a care in the world as she clutched a bouquet of flowers and waved to fans outside the New Wimbledon Theatre in London – as rumours about her marriage to ex-footballer Jamie continue to rumble on.

She’s maintained a dignified silence on the whole situation and instead thrown herself into work, rehearsing for her role as Sally Bowles in a touring production of Cabaret, which kicked off on Thursday night.

But the fact she’s still wearing her wedding ring and not trying to hide it from the cameras has led some to wonder if speculation about a divorce from Jamie is premature.

Louise’s wedding band was clearly visible as she waved to fans gathered outside the venue.

Although she initially had her hand in her pocket, she took it out when presented with a gorgeous bunch of flowers from an admirer, who was also treated to a big hug.

Louise and Jamie have been rocked by split rumours since May, with allegations their nearly 20-year union had been hit by the infamous Strictly Come Dancing curse.

It was alleged Louise rediscovered her love of performing and a new independence while competing on the show, which put a strain on her marriage.

When the speculation first arose, Louise had laughed it off, telling The Mirror: “It was surreal. Me and Jamie had just been out for dinner in Zuma, and we were in bed together when we saw on Sky that our marriage was in trouble.

“We’re great – don’t worry about us! Everything is fine.”

However, neither Louise, 42, nor Jamie, 44, has commented on the rumours since then.

That’s meant various unconfirmed reports have swirled including one claiming they officially split but were keeping silent on the rumours for the sake of their young children Charley, 12, and eight-year-old Beau.

Another claim in The Sunday People alleged Louise wanted a ‘quickie divorce’ by Christmas.

A source said: “Louise wants to put steps in place to end her marriage to Jamie by the end of year.”

The insider added: “They are no closer to getting back together since when they first split in July. Louise now wants to agree a timetable with Jamie to bring the marriage to an end.”

But yet another conflicting report suggested the pair hadn’t even mentioned the word ‘divorce’ and were still hoping to make their marriage work.

“The word divorce hasn’t even been uttered between Jamie and Louise,” a source told Now magazine.

“Jamie is adamant he’ll be there when Louise realises the grass isn’t greener. He’s telling friends: ‘I’ll wait for my wife to come home – Louise needs this time’.”

As the pair haven’t said anything themselves, it’s all a bit unclear as to what is really going on behind closed doors.

Louise appeared to defiantly hit back at split claims via Instagram this week, when she shared a beautiful photo from Cabaret rehearsals with her wedding ring clearly visible.

She captioned the image by commenting on her preparation for her upcoming tour of Caberet: “#HappyMonday back in the rehearsal studio this week giving Sally Bowles all iv got #cabaret.”

Fans noted the wedding ring and said they hoped it was a sign the split rumours weren’t accurate.

Only time will tell – or until Louise or Jamie decide to break their silence.
