Bake Off’s Candice Brown marries fiance Liam Macaulay

Here comes the Bake Off bride!

The Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown married her long-term partner Liam Macaulay in a romantic ceremony in France last Saturday.

The couple, who have been dating for six years, were married in a stunning French chateau, surrounded by friends and family.

The ceremony also welcomed two extra special guests…nope, not Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.

Candice, 33, and her new husband, tree surgeon Liam, were accompanied by their gorgeous dogs – pug Dennis and Pomeranian Sybil.

We are yet to see the cake, which was reportedly created by Candice’s Bake Off friends.

The wedding day was shared with Hello! magazine, with an exclusive glimpse of the magazine’s cover showing Candice in a pink lace dress.

With a high neckline and delicate buttoned lace sleeves, the dress also has a floral beaded applique at the neckline as is fitting with the 2016 Bake Off winner’s famous vintage style.

In a previous interview with Hello!, following the news of her engagement last year, Candice revealed her choice was inspired by the dress Jennifer Lawrence wore to the Oscars, when she tripped down the stairs.

The Dancing On Ice star told them: “I love that dress, I love it. But they say you have to try things on, so I could be in a sparkly leotard!”

Let’s hope Candice didn’t stack it down the aisle!

The couple were hit by scandal in October last year, when Candice was spotted receiving a farewell kiss from Paul Hollywood outside of the Pride Of Britain awards.

Both parties strenuously denied any claims they were more than friends, and in April, Candice revealed she had invited Paul, who has recently split from his wife, to the nuptials.

“I’ve invited Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry of course. It depends very much on their work schedule,” she told the Daily Star Sunday.

It is not yet known whether the judges attended, but we are sure to spot some familiar faces!
