Emmerdale’s Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden plan for third baby in 2018

They're adding to their brood!

Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden – aka Debbie Dingle and David Metcalfe – have revealed that they plan to start trying for their third baby together in 2018.

The couple, who have been together since 2008, already have two sons together – Buster, seven, and one-year-old Bowie – but are keen to add to their brood.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Matthew revealed: “We’ll start thinking about having another baby next year.

“We’d love a girl but I think we’re destined to have a house full of boys.”

Charley and Matthew have previously spoken to the magazine about their baby plans – and their wedding plans, saying earlier this year that they’ll be trying for a third baby before getting married.

Charley revealed that she’d like to be surrounded by their children at their wedding.

They also spoke about the strong bond between their sons, adding that Buster is a brilliant big brother and that Bowie’s first word was ‘Buster’ – so cute.

The loved-up couple also spoke about their futures on Emmerdale – ruling out their characters ever being romantically involved on screen.

Charley said it would be too much, living together and working together constantly.

Meanwhile Matthew admitted that he has no plans to leave Emmerdale any time soon and even said he could see himself in the ITV soap for the rest of his career.

Kinda like the Ian Beale of the Dales, then.

Charley, who has been in the show since she was 14, said that she’d like to try other roles, but staying put does have its appeal as well.

She said: “I get to go home to Buster and Bowie each night and you can’t put a price on that.

“There’s no job more important than being with your family.”

Debbie Dingle is currently at the centre of a major storyline with her mysterious new boyfriend, Tom Waterhouse, being behind the planned golf course which will see her family homeless.

Meanwhile, David is trying to save his marriage to Tracy, which has been tested since Leyla Harding confessed she had fallen for him again.

Luckily, their real lives aren’t so complicated.
