Aww! Anton du Beke has let slip the sex of his unborn babies

Strictly Come Dancing favourite is expecting twins next year

Strictly Come Dancing star Anton du Beke has let the cat out the bag about the gender of his babies-to-be.

He revealed in November that he and his wife Hannah were to become parents to twins for the first time.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain alongside his professional dancing partner, Erin Boag, he revealed the new arrivals will be a boy and a girl.

How super-duper cute is that?!

He said: “We found out the other day because we had our big scan the other day and we found out what they are and they are definitely babies!”

“We are going to have one of each.”

He joked about their names adding: “I’m going for Anton and Antoinette.”

This comes as Anton has been named as a possible replacement for departing judge Len Goodman.

It's definitely a job that Anton is keen to do, but the 50-year-old has revealed that the BBC are keeping quiet over who will be taking the role.

He said: "That's a conversation that's not been had yet.

They are definitely babies!

"Obviously they're going to have to make a decision eventually, but they won't do it yet because the shows still on."

Len has also said that he has no idea who will replace him on the panel.

He told the Sunday People: “The producers told me they have enough on their plates and will not decide until the new year after the series is over.

“Personally I hope it’s someone from the world of ballroom and Latin rather than someone from stage dancing. But whoever they pick I’m sure it’ll be the right decision.”

Len went on to say that he feels like he is lucky rather than “privileged” for where his life and career has taken him.

“Things can turn on sixpence. I was so lucky finding dancing at 21. If I hadn’t I’d have still been in North Woolwich working on the docks.”

We sure are lucky too Len!
