Asan N’Jie’s phone call to Jamie Lomas after TV Choice Awards fracas revealed

He phoned the actor to say sorry

He made a public apology following his sacking from ITV soap Emmerdale and now it’s been revealed that disgraced actor Asan N’Jie called Jamie Lomas to personally apologise after the incident.

Asan was caught on camera at the TV Choice Awards threatening to stab and kill Jamie in a reported row “over money”.

He was suspended the following day and is reported to have called Jamie before he was sacked from his role on the long-running soap.

They added that Jamie, who is set to return to his role as Warren Fox in Hollyoaks early next year, has “forgotten about” the incident.

They added: “Asan was genuinely sorry about what happened and sincerely regrets it.”

He also issued a public apology which stated that he was “determined to learn from this”.

Asan appeared on the Yorkshire-based soap for a year.

It has since been revealed that he sent a series of shameful historic tweets calling Helen Worth’s Corrie character a “sl*g” and retweeting a misogynistic joke.

Jamie, meanwhile, has been seen enjoying lunch with his former I’m A Celebrity campmates, looking as if he has put the incident behind him.
