Lisa Armstrong shares ‘heartbreak’ after claims of Ant McPartlin’s ‘new romance’

She shared a string of broken heart emojis to Twitter

Ant McPartlin’s estranged wife Lisa Armstrong posted a string of broken heart emojis to Twitter hours after it was claimed Ant has reportedly “found love” again.

According to an unconfirmed report in The Sun, the Ant & Dec star is in the “very early days” of a romance with his personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett.

Sources claimed the pair have always enjoyed a friendly professional relationship, but recently that blossomed into romance and they’re taking it slowly to see what may happen.

A spark apparently emerged recently between Anne-Marie, 42, and Ant, also 42, as they worked together recently.

An insider alleged: “Anne-Marie’s put him back together again. Everyone’s thrilled he’s found someone to love.

“It’s very early days, but everyone is hoping he can put the worst year of his life behind him and find happiness again. Both of them deserve it.”

There has been no official confirmation from Ant or Anne-Marie on whether the claims are true.

Many fans responded to her message, including former Blue Peter and Sky Sports News star Simon Thomas who tweeted: “Grace through emojis. Love will find you again x.”

Lisa’s cover photo on Twitter is still an image of her and Ant with their beloved dog.

Ant confirmed in January that his 11-year marriage to Lisa had ended. They had been together for 23 years in total.

In April, Ant pleaded guilty to drink-driving and was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months after a car collision in March.

He has been off TV screens since March, with his rep saying the star would step down from his current work commitments to focus on his well-being.

Ant missed the final two episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway‘s last series, and did not join TV partner Dec Donnelly to host the Britain’s Got Talent live shows in May.
