It’s been a year since they split, but tensions are still apparently simmering between estranged couple Lisa Armstrong and Ant McPartlin.
A new report claims the make-up artist is “desperate” to give a tell-all interview, after becoming increasingly sick of keeping her mouth shut.
An insider close to the 42-year-old tells heat magazine: “She is desperate to get her side of the story out. She feels like everything out in the public is coming from Ant, and it’s not fair.
“Lisa knows that while there are still legal issues, she is essentially unable to speak out at all. But she is desperate to correct distorted versions of her own story.”
It follows an in-depth interview from the Britain’s Got Talent presenter, where he appeared to condemn his wife of 10 years’ occasional Twitter shares.
He said: “I’ve not been on social media or put any of my personal views out there. It’s not my style.
“She can live her life how she wants to live her life and say what she wants but I prefer to keep that private.”
Lisa reacted to the piece by ‘liking’ a string of messages that attacked Ant, 43, and she appeared to dig at him again when she ‘liked’ a tweet that said the TV star has ‘rubbed her face’ in his new romance.
But the source adds Lisa is also keen to move on, saying: “She thinks it’s insane that they don’t speak at all and can’t be on good terms. She doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life hoping not to bump into Ant.”

Ant moved on shortly after the split announcement last January, revealing his romance with former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.
In his recent interview, he praised her, saying: “Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life.”
Proving things are serious, the couple recently unveiled their new pets – two super cute Maltipoo pups, which are a cross between a Maltese terrier and a poodle. The pooches are apparently named Milo and Bumble.
It comes as fans claimed Lisa seemed happier in recent pictures.
On Monday, the TV star shared a smiling shot with her friend, fashion stylist Leah Binnall. Lisa captioned it: “Brrrrrr that was a chilly one last night!! @leahbinnallstylist we snuggled together though… x.”
