It’s been a year of awesome highs and painful lows for Ant McParlin and Declan Donnelly; a year that also saw them apart for the first time in their careers.
But they were very much a team today as they issued a message to all their loyal fans together on Twitter.

Dec will be enjoying an extra special Christmas this year, as it marks the first for him as a dad.
He and wife Ali Astall welcomed daughter Isla in September, with Dec breaking the news on Twitter.
“Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning,” he wrote.
“Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x”

Ant, meanwhile, is with a new partner for this festive period. He went public with girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett this summer, after the end of his marriage to Lisa Armstrong.

He will be back to work in the New Year, alongside Dec, as it was revealed last week they were starting filming of Britain’s Got Talent auditions.
