Ant and Dec fire back after David Walliams hilariously mocks them AGAIN

Comedian took to social media to take the mick out of pals' fashion choices in throwback snap

| Updated:

TV joker David Walliams has targeted Britain’s Got Talent pals Ant and Dec for another teasing on social media.

But following the last ribbing they received on Twitter from David a few weeks ago which saw the Little Britain comedian compare the presenting duo to a pair of young boys, it seems the lads were up for firing back with a bit of their own banter this time round.

David’s previous wisecrack in September delighted fans, leaving them in hysterics as he posted the snap which also saw the funnyman pull his own leg as he referenced the numerous times he has performed in gag.

That time, Ant and Dec had very little in the way of a comeback to David’s gag, which was liked nearly 25,000 times.

Quoting David’s tweet, Ant tipped his hat to David’s wit with a crying laughter emoji and the comment: “Brilliant!!!”

However, it seems the lads were not prepared to let him make fun of them without reply again, hitting back by poking fun at one of David’s rare showbiz missteps.

Mocking Ant and Dec’s fashion and hairstyle choices in a pic that must be at least twenty years old, David captioned his tweet: “Style has always been very important to ⁦@antanddec⁩.”

Taking just a few moments to consider Ant’s taste for salmon-y tones and a fondness for hair gel (but apparently not for mirrors or combs), David may have a – admittedly sarcastic – point.

But who could possibly object to that shirt of Dec’s? Apart from actual fashion police, that is.

It does seem like wearing a shirt – apparently inspired by 1970s kitchen wallpaper – like that could actually be a criminal offence.

And although it took nearly 24 hours to respond, Ant and Dec got their own back this afternoon by taking the mick out of David’s short stint on doomed late night ITV chat series The Nightly Show.

“Hilarious David,” they tweeted, along with a snap of their mate posing on the show’s set.

“You should be on TV every night doing stuff like that….. oh hang on…”

Oof! Now that’s a stiff shot!

We’ve seen this kind of Twitter back and forth time and time again. This could escalate very quickly… And we’re quite happy to sit back and enjoy it!

Carry on chaps!
