Loose Women star Andrea McLean surprised fans by showing off a dramatic new look.
The TV presenter, who usually has long brunette hair, sported a short blonde cropped wig in a video she posted on Instagram on Tuesday morning.
Andrea, 48, wrote: “Back off holiday and on @loosewomen today! Had a little change … what do you think?”

In the video she can seen stroking her blonde hair and saying: “So I’m back at work today and I decided to go for a little change while I was away. I hope you like it.”

Well, er, plenty of fans didn’t…
One told her: “No please go back still beautiful but prefer the other colour.”
Another wrote: “Oh I prefer your own hair colour and style.”
A third said, “Sorry not a good look makes you look so much older,” while a fourth said: “Sorry, that’s a no from me.”
Other fans, however, loved the dramatic image change, with one saying: “Ooh really suits you the wig & blond go for it.”
Another remarked, “Wow, so beautiful” while a third agreed: “Love it Andrea!”
The reason for Andrea’s rather drastic new look became apparent on Tuesday’s Loose Women…
It was all part of a Stars In Their Eyes segment!
The panel – which also featured Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Anne Diamond – transformed into members of the band, Abba, after interviewing Stars In Their Eyes host Matthew Kelly.

After interviewing Matthew, Nadia and Linda disappeared off into a cloud of smoke to re-emerge as Abba’s leading ladies!

Nadia swapped her usual blonde curls for a fiery red ‘do, while Linda’s short blonde hair was transformed into longer, more voluminous locks.
Meanwhile, Andrea and Anne donned their cropped wigs to become Abba’s male stars, as they joined Nadia and Linda in a singalong to close the show.
Andrea later returned to Instagram to prove she definitely HADN’T chopped her hair, telling fans: “Ok, hands up (or should that be heads up) it was a wig!
