Celeb mates – including Amber Davies – rush to send love to injured Louise Redknapp as she pulls out of show

The Strictly star admitted her heart is broken

Poor Louise Redknapp has been sent love and support from her celeb pals as it’s confirmed she’s lost her West End job.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was hospitalised after a dramatic and nasty fall, with her friend, Love Island star Amber Davies wishing her a “speedy recovery.”

Taking to Instagram, Louise – who was due to play Violet Newstead in the new Dolly Parton musical 9-5 – shared a selfie showing her awful injury.

She wrote beside it: “It breaks my heart 💔to say I am having to take some time out and won’t be able to continue with my role in 9-5. Due to a nasty fall I have only gone and fractured my wrist and got 10 (yes 10) stitches in my chin. 🤕.”

The 44-year-old mum-of-two went on: “Following my doctors orders- they have said I will be ok but as they say in the theatre 🎭 ‘the show must go on’ and I wish the rest of the fabulous cast an amazing opening night and I will be back on that stage for 9-5 before you know it. 💔😢💔.”

Her co-star, Amber, 22 – who plays Judy Bernly in the show – was quick to send her love, sharing a picture with Louise and writing: “I leave you for 2 mins!! Wishing one of my favourite humans the most speedy recovery!

“I can’t wait to be beside you as we play leading ladies together❤️.”

Another famous pal, reality star Lizzy Cundy also tweeted support for the Eternal singer, saying: “Wishing you a speedy recovery @LouiseRedknapp and sending you loads of love darling . I’m so sorry 💗🙏🏻xx

Louise’s boss at the West End show, David Hutchinson also sent love, writing: “Wishing the lovely @LouiseRedknapp a swift recovery and can’t wait to have her back with the @9to5MusicalUK company as soon as possible!! ❤️❤️❤️.”

The TV star – who split from her husband of nearly 20 years, former footballer Jamie Redknapp in 2017 – also posted a message on InstaStories.

Beside another shot of her injured face, Louise wrote: “Sending you all kisses and I’l be back loving Violet before you know it.”

Louise was was due to perform in the new play – based on the 1980s film starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin – at London’s Savoy Theatre later this month.

Fans also rushed to send their love to the star, with one commenting: “Such bad luck, rest up and let your injuries heal. I’m sure you’ll be back on stage soon enough. Got an album to give us 😘.”

Another wrote: “So sorry to hear this lou wishing you a speedy recovery and we all can’t wait to see you on that stage once better x💖.”

A third tweeted: “Aww Louise, bless you! I hope you’re on the mend soon lovely. 💐💐💐💐💐 xxx.”

This is such bad luck. Let’s hope Louise gets better soon and can return to the stage.
