Amanda Seyfried engaged to Thomas Sadoski

She said yes after just six months of dating!

Actress Amanda Seyfried is engaged to Thomas Sadoski after love blossomed just six months ago.

The happy couple confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Monday.

A source told the publication: ‘Tommy and Amanda recently got engaged and shared the happy news with family and close friends.’

Amanda, 30 and 40-year-old Thomas started dating in March after they met while filming comedy The Last Word.

The pair had previously worked together on an off-Broadway play last year.

While this is a first marriage for the Mean Girls star, The Newsroom star Thomas was previously married to Kimberly Hope.

The ex-couple filed for divorce last summer after eight years of marriage and announced their break-up in October.

Before dating Thomas, Amanda was in a relationship with Justin Long for two years.

The actress previously dated her Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper and also counts Josh Hartnett, Ryan Phillippe, Desmond Harrington and Alexander Skarsgard among her exes.

In an interview with E! News last year the actress told of her dreams to settle down and start a family, but admitted she had no desire to wear a white dress on her big day.

She said: ‘I got married so many times in my life—onscreen!

‘I don’t want a white dress! I’ve worn so many of them.

‘The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment.

‘So it’s like children. That’s where it’s at, right? For me. But it’s different for everybody.’

And when speaking about her hopes for a family, she added: ‘I’d like to have one in the next four or five years.

‘And the second one can happen between 35 and 40. Or I can adopt… It’s fine. I definitely want to a couple kids.’
