Amanda Holden is known for her headline-grabbing outfits on shows like Britain's Got Talent.
But she has revealed on her Heart Radio breakfast show that even the little matter of pregnancy didn't stand in the way of being glamorous.
Mum-of-two, Amanda, 48, described how her eldest daughter, 13, had to be delivered by caesarian section.
But this didn't discourage Amanda.
She told co-host Jamie Theakston: "My Lexi had this thing called placenta previa which means she couldn't come out the normal way because her placenta was in the way, she was using it as a cushion basically, she was doing like a headstand on it."
I had lip gloss, I did a lash. I literally said 'Can I wear my [stilettos]?' and they went 'No way you, have to take your shoes off.
She went onto say: "So I had to have a C-section so I did full glam. I had lip gloss, I did a lash. I literally said 'Can I wear my [stilettos]?' and they went 'No way you, have to take your shoes off."
Fresh from her public 'feud' with Phillip Schofield, Amanda Holden has landed a coveted new presenting role on top of her daily stint on Heart.
Amanda hit the headlines recently after reports that she'd gone to a top ITV exec to complain that Phil had blocked her from covering for Holly Willoughby on This Morning as Holly headed to Australia to present I'm A Celebrity.
Amanda has since claimed that she has offered Phil an olive branch – and he ignored her.
With James Corden unable to fulfil his presenting commitments on Sky One's sports panel show A League Of Their Own due to his work Stateside, it's been revealed that Amanda will step in.
She will become one of the show's guests hosts. Her BGT pal David Walliams will also step in, alongside Clare Balding and Jack Whitehall.
