Amanda, 48, went to theatre school as a child before she focussed on acting as a career, landing roles in dramas including Wild At Heart and Kiss Me Kate.

Although she is able to sing, the BGT star rarely revealed her voice to fans.

But in December last year, Amanda recorded a version of Tightrope, from the hit musical movie The Greatest Showman, for her husband Chris Hughes.

Together with her daughters Lexi, 13, and seven-year-old Hollie, Amanda made the song to celebrate both her husband’s birthday and their 10 year wedding anniversary.

After uploading it to social media, the song went viral and it immediately turned the heads of music executives at some of the world’s biggest record labels, including Warner and Sony.
