Amanda Holden has defended her decision to allow her seven-year-old daughter skip school and appear alongside her on the radio.
The star’s youngest child, Hollie, joined her on Heart’s Breakfast Show on Friday morning (20.09.19) and the pair ended up making headlines.
But it seems the Britain’s Got Talent judge, 48, was also hit with criticism for letting Hollie miss school and head to work with her.

Taking to Twitter, Amanda has confirmed the real – and sad – reason why Hollie wasn’t in school.
She tweeted: “We are going to a family memorial this weekend and had permission from the school to take the children out of school to fly to this sad but special event.”
Each weekday morning, Amanda co-hosts the breakfast radio slot with Jamie Theakston.
At one point during Friday’s show, she may have regretted her decision to let her daughter appear on it too.

Hollie revealed her mum is always naked at home and only throws on a dressing gown when there is a knock at the door!
Jamie asked Hollie: “What does mummy do that embarrasses you the most?”
Hollie replied: “She goes naked all around the house.”
While Amanda gasped and burst into giggles, Jamie admitted: “Oh dear, oh dear, that wasn’t what I was expecting!”

He then asked the little girl: “How do you feel about that, Hollie?”
“I just get annoyed,” she said, to which Amanda asked: “Do you? Do you think I need to put something on?”
Hollie then revealed: “Well, every time someone rings the doorbell she has to put her dressing gown on really quickly and then when they leave, she takes it off.”
Bursting out in hysterics, Amanda admitted: “I like to feel free. What can I say?”
