New mum Alex Jones has shared an adorable new image of her four-week-old son Kit.
Posting the black and white snap to Instagram, The One Show co-host said: “4 weeks of getting to know Kit.”
The picture shows a snoozing Kit cuddling up to his adoring mum, who looks remarkably fresh-faced in the make-up free selfie.
Alex also thanked her followers for all of their messages of congratulations and said: “Each one is very much appreciated.”
She added: “I’ve loved reading them and they’ve really kept me going during the long nights.”

As Ent Daily reported, the TV presenter gave birth to her second son with husband Charlie Thomson last month. The pair are already parents to two-year-old Teddy.
Last week, Alex shared a picture of her husband carrying their newborn in his car seat and told her followers that she was sad Charlie was heading back to work.
She said: “Paternity leave is over in a flash. We miss having Daddy at home. The last few weeks have been bliss though.”

Speaking to her One Show co-host Matt Baker a week after Kit’s birth, Alex revealed that son Teddy was loving being a big brother.
She said: “I was a bit worried but Teddy has taken to it like a duck to water, being a big brother. He says: ‘Love you baby.'”
However, she revealed that she was a little worried about telling Teddy the name of his new baby brother.
“He thinks that we’re going to call the baby Thomas after Thomas the Tank engine so breaking the news is going to be tricky,” she laughed.
