Adam Thomas’ wife Caroline has had a busy weekend celebrating both her birthday and the imminent arrival of their second child.
The dance school owner was delighted to get her friends and family together for a baby shower as she turned 28 years old.
Caroline and former Emmerdale actor, Adam, 29, are expecting a sister for their three-year-old son Teddy.

Sharing a large group picture from her baby shower, Caroline wrote: “What an absolutely unbelievable day!!! Thank you so so much to everyone who came to my baby shower yesterday, we had the best day.
“Baby Thomas and I are so lucky to have such special family and friends around us!!! I am yet to open all our gifts but I know she has been totally spoilt!!
“Thank you each and every one of you who came and made the day what is was!!! 4 weeks to go… baby girl we’re ready for you anytime soon!!!”
In a separate post showing floral decorations, balloons and a sign that read “Welcome to Caroline’s baby shower”, she gave “special thanks” to the companies and caterers “for making the room look so beautiful”.
She also updated her stories to reveal more of the elaborately decorated venue which had giant floral displays, candles, table decorations and a large light up sign saying “Baby.”
The guests tucked into cupcakes and were given cute star biscuits on a stick decorated with pink icing and the words “Baby Thomas”.
In her latest blog for OK! Online, Caroline revealed the baby shower coincided with her birthday.
She wrote of her birthday: “Adam asked me what I want to do to celebrate, but I’m happy just chilling at home. I’m going to go for dinner with the girls in the day, but when Adam’s back in the evening we’ll do something.
“I’m happy just getting a takeaway and putting a film on. It’s an exciting weekend because my baby shower is the day before, but I’m just hoping nothing happens before then!”
Caroline, who is currently 34 weeks pregnant, also revealed she may have to be induced as the baby as her midwife now has concerns over the baby’s size.
She wrote: “On Monday she thought I was measuring small. It’s quite vague really because they only get a tape measure and they measure under your boobs to your pelvic bone. So she’s sending me for a growth scan and I’m just hoping everything will be okay, I’m sure it will be.”
Last week Caroline and Adam celebrated being in a relationship for 10 years. In a tribute to her man on Instagram, Caroline told him: “So… 2 houses, 1 dog, 1 child, 1 wedding, 1 bump, numerous holidays and 10 YEARS later we are still going strong!!!

“Happy 10 years together my husband, best friend and general pain in the [bleep]! I love you more than anything and cannot wait to grow old with you @adamthomas21”
The I’m A Celeb star followed suit with a picture from their 2017 wedding, writing: “10 years I’ve spent with this beautiful woman !!! 10 years !!! Can not wait to spend the rest of my life with her!! @carolinethomas23 love you Mrs Thomas!”
