Scarlett Moffatt makes eye-grabbing return to social media

She left recently to avoid trolls

TV favourite Scarlett Moffatt has returned to social media after a short hiatus, telling fans she is ‘living her best life’ and sharing a busty holiday snap.

The 27-year-old Gogglebox star seemingly quit Twitter and Instagram at the end of July after becoming overwhelmed by “vile comments” about her appearance.

In the days leading up to her social screenbreak, Scarlett had heartbreakingly detailed how she had been targeted by trolls and admitting hateful remarks had “resulted in me crying my eyes out!”.

But now, less than two weeks later, Scarlett has made her comeback with a smile… and an inflatable pink flamingo.

Living my best life ❤️

Believed to be on holiday with pals in Las Vegas, the Saturday Night Takeaway presenter looks happy and relaxed as she smiles for the camera, wearing huge pink sunglasses and clutching a drink while in the pool.

In another snap captioned “My besties”, Scarlett is joined by three other mates as they surround her novelty inflatable.

Scarlett – the bookies’ favourite to replace Ant McPartlin as co-host on I’m A Celebrity – last shared a photo on Instagram on July 24 during a trip to Ibiza.

Her last posts on Twitter in the days leading up to her vow to leave saw her respond to support from celebrities such as Keith Lemon, Caroline Flack and Love Island’s Olivia Buckland.

She also tweeted an extended tirade about how she was “ashamed” of how people conduct themselves on Twitter.

The emotional thread came just moments after Scarlett made a divisive appearance on Love Island spin off show Aftersun where she came under fire for criticising reality show contestant Megan Barton Hanson.

Scarlett’s final tweet – which has not been followed up on since – came right at the end of July.

Replying to Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby who herself was pondering about giving up on Instagram, Scarlett agreed: “Awww honestly I am with every aspect of social media.”

Good to have you back Scarlett!
