Lucy-Jo Hudson ‘dating again’ after split from Corrie’s Alan Halsall

She has yet to comment on the rumours

Lucy-Jo Hudson has reportedly started dating again following her split from Coronation Street co-star husband Alan Halsall.

According to The Sun on Sunday, the actress – who played Corrie’s Katy Harris – has fallen for actor Lewis Devine, who she met while doing her Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime last year.

They worked together on the panto in Merseyside and it’s claimed their friendship “slowly developed” into romance after Lucy-Jo’s marriage ended.

Neither Lucy-Jo nor Lewis has confirmed the rumours.

ED! has contacted Lucy-Jo’s rep for comment.

Lucy-Jo and Alan, who plays Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs, confirmed their split in May, saying it was a mutual decision and they remain close friends.

A statement issued by Lucy-Jo at the time said: “I can confirm that Al and I are divorcing. We remain friends and devoted mummy and daddy to our daughter Sienna.

“We would appreciate privacy so that we can focus on Sienna’s continued happiness.”

The couple met when Lucy played Katy Harris on Corrie between 2002-2005. She went on to star in Wild At Heart and Doctors.

They married in 2009 and have a daughter, Sienna-Rae, four.

Alan, 35, and Lucy-Jo, also 35, married in June 2009 in Barthomley, Chester, surrounded by many of their Corrie co-stars.

Just last year, Lucy-Jo paid tribute to her husband on their wedding anniversary, tweeting: “Happy Anniversary Baby, 8 years today I married my best mate @alanhalsall. I love you.”

The couple briefly split in 2016 before rekindling their relationship.

At the time, Lucy-Jo told Loose Women: “Al and I did keep talking through our four months apart and recently we started spending time trying to work things through together.

“We both want to save our marriage.”

Lucy-Jo has just joined the cast of Hollyoaks as new character, Donna-Marie Quinn, the mum of James Nightingale’s secret son.
