Peter Andre says Emily stopped him getting more tattoos

He says being married to Emily has stopped him getting more ink

Peter Andre has revealed being married to wife Emily has stopped him getting more tattoos.

The Mysterious Girl singer, who has a handful of tattoos on his arms, has admitted he’d probably have followed in David Beckham’s ink-filled footsteps and kept getting tattoos all over his body.

But doctor Emily isn’t keen on the overly-tattooed look, so he chose to stop going under the tattooist’s needle when they began dating.

He wrote in his New! magazine column: “I reckon that if I were on my own – as in, still single – I would have got a few more because they can be very addictive.

“But Emily isn’t a fan of them, so when we got together, I decided not to have any more.”

However, that doesn’t mean he can’t admire tattoos from afar, saying of David’s new head tattoo: “I kinda do think he has too many but, damn it, he looks good!”

Peter and Emily will mark their third wedding anniversary in July.

They met back in 2010 when Peter was treated for kidney stones by Emily’s surgeon father; two years later, the couple went public with their romance.

The pair share daughter Amelia, four, and son Theo, one, while Peter is also dad to son Junior, 12, and daughter Princess, ten, with ex-wife Katie Price.

Peter and Emily are constantly asked about whether they’ll have another child, and Peter has admitted to flip-flopping between wanting more and being happy with his current brood.

In January, he told The Mirror: “All of a sudden I said I want another baby. It’s weird as I always said I don’t want to be changing nappies at 50, like Simon Cowell.”

However, Pete recently did a U-Turn, saying in April he’s gone off the idea of going back to sleepless nights with a newborn baby.

Emily, meanwhile, previously told ITV’s Lorraine that she’s content with the kids they have for now, having just got back into the swing of work after maternity leave.

“I’m very much focused on my career and getting back to that,” she said.
