Christmas liqueurs don’t come much better than this little trio that’s just launched at M&S.
Yes, these are not just any liqueurs, these are M&S Christmas liqueurs and, we think you’ll agree, they’re pretty special.
And we would even go so far as to say that Baileys might just have a rival with a couple of the new flavours.
What flavour are the Christmas liqueurs?
First things first, M&S has launched what appears to be its own take on Baileys with the Traditional Irish Cream Liqueur.
It’s made with fresh cream and blended especially for the store.
And the drink appears to form the base for two flavoured creamy liqueurs.
First up is the Chocolatey Salted Caramel Brownie Flavour Cream Liqueur.
It has an ABV of 15%, compared to Baileys’ 17%, and the pretty, sparkly bottle retails at £12.
Perfect for an after-dinner treat, it combines the popular salted caramel flavour with the deliciousness of a brownie all wrapped up in an alcoholic beverage.
The store’s second dessert liqueur is its Velvety Trifle Flavour Cream.
It features all the flavours of that quintessentially British dessert – jelly, custard, strawberries and cream.
OMG stop, that’s obscene!
Much like trifle, the liqueur is also a little bit boozy, with the liqueur having an ABV of 12% and a £12 price tag.
What have shoppers said?
“OMG!” said one Christmas liqueur fan. “Let’s go and get them all!”
“How good does the Salted Caramel Brownie one sound!” said another.
“I’d try them all,” said a third.
“What’s it going in?” another asked their pal.
“A glass with ice,” came the swift reply.
“OMG stop, that’s obscene,” said another of the drinks trio.
“I’ll get some for Christmas drinks,” another said tagging their pal.
“Can’t wait,” they replied, adding the Santa emoji.
Another said they’d be trying the liqueurs in a “Christmas hot chocolate”.
“These sound so good, we need to try them all,” their friend replied.
Gin liqueurs in store too!
Well, if you feel the same, the liqueurs are in store now, along with the new light-up Snow Globe Gin Liqueurs.
Yes, it most certainly seems that when it comes to festive booze, M&S has you covered!
