Mr Kipling launches Irish Creme Fancies just in time for Christmas

The brand is expanding its festive range

He’s known for making exceedingly good cakes, and now Mr Kipling has spoiled us with a new festive French Fancies flavour.

Irish Creme Fancies – which taste just like Baileys – are on sale in all good supermarkets now.

The treats feature a golden sponge cake with the traditional vanilla-flavour topping, which is then covered in an Irish cream-flavoured fondant.

One fan said that she could “confirm” that they are “delicious”.

The Irish Creme Fancies join the deliciously festive Frosty Fancies and the raspberry and vanilla Candy Cane Slices as part of the brand’s Christmas range.

Consumers are most certainly keen on the festive range, with one tweeting the company asking when they’d be rolling out the treats.

There are also Festive Bakewells, Chocolate Orange Whirls and Winter Whirls on sale.
