Asda selling Baileys chocolate yule log for Christmas

This looks simply delicious!

| Updated:

Asda is selling a Baileys chocolate yule log ahead of Christmas this year – and it looks to die for.

The boozy dessert features a soft chocolate sponge filled with chocolate flavour frosting and then coated in milk chocolate.

It’s then masked with a Baileys frosting and topped with bronze lustred chocolate curls and a chocolate plaque.

You can buy the treat for £5 and it will serve eight people.

Instagram account NewfoodsUK shared a snap of the dessert and shoppers have gone wild.

The post was captioned: “@baileysofficial Chocolate Yule Log now at @asda.”

One person commented: “Delicious food heaven,” while another said: “Get in my belly!”

A third added: “This is amazing! Will need this for Christmas.”

Earlier this month, we revealed that Tesco is selling a chocolate Baileys Freakshake cake and salted caramel cupcakes.

Originally launched last year, the Freakshake cake is a chocolate sponge cake with Baileys-flavoured frosting and an extra serving of edible decorations, like marshmallows.

The liquor brand has added a hot chocolate flavour.

It has also added salted caramel cupcakes to its range.

The salted caramel cupcakes come in packs of nine. They cost just £4 per pack.

Baileys recently delighted shoppers when it unveiled plans for a new flavour.

“I need this in my life,” one tweeted after hearing of plans for the new salted caramel flavour.

It launched in Asda on October 10 and will be available in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s from November 1.
