People are going wild for new gold-dusted hot chocolate bombes

There's even a Baileys flavour

A bakery in Leicester has created a delicious festive treat that has quickly gone viral.

Wildflower Cakes‘ new Gold Dusted Hot Chocolate Bombes appear to be at the top of a lot of people’s wish lists this Christmas.

Consumers are going wild for the hot chocolate balls, which create a drink in seconds when placed in a mug and topped with warm milk.

As the chocolate ball melts, the bombe’s surprise is unveiled – lots of mini marshmallows pop out of the centre of the bombe and float to the top of your hot chocolate.

A video of the bombe in action quickly garnered 23k comments and 17k shares.

With the bakery promising that it’ll launch a website this week, customers will be able to order online and have the bombes posted out to them.

They’re being sold in a choice of flavours and even come in a vegan option.
