Nutella is launching a new even more chocolatey spread in early 2020

It looks set to be a very happy new year for chocoholics!

We have some good news for fans of chocolate spread Nutella.

News has reached us that, come spring 2020, a new, even more chocolatey spread will make its debut on our supermarket shelves.

According to The Grocer, Nutella + Cocoa will do exactly what it says on the tin and will be packed with even more chocolate.

The tub itself looks darker than the original Nutella, signally a higher cocoa percentage in the new product.

In fact, it’s been reported that the new spread will contain twice as much chocolate as original jars of Nutella.

An Instagram post by The Grocer revealed: “The new spread has double the cocoa content of standard Nutella.”

It added: “It will roll out in the UK from spring 2020.”

The news was music to the ears of Nutella fans, with many taking to social media to reveal they couldn’t wait to get their hands on a jar.

“Wow,” said one fan simply.

The new spread has double the cocoa content of standard Nutella. It will roll out in the UK from spring 2020.

“Oh my god!” said another.

“That could be great,” a third said.
