‘No prep’ Christmas dinner cooks in just 90 minutes and feeds six people at £6.50 a head!

Two-pan meat, veg and trimmings kit could make easiest Christmas dinner ever

| Updated:

Slaving over a hot stove for hours on the morning of December 25 could be all in the past for festive celebrations this year following the launch of a festive hamper that could make the easiest Christmas dinner ever.

The two-pan meat, veg and trimmings kit comes from Musclefood.com – and they reckon cooking it will take only an hour and a half!

Costing £39, the feast is designed to feed six people, which works out at a very wallet-friendly £6.50 a head.

Plus, there’s hardly any washing up to see to after as two disposable roasting trays are provided, meaning the family can have more time to spend together after their big scoff… or maybe an extra few moments for a bit of a doze.

A turkey breast roasting joint weighing between 1.2kg and 1.5kg, a 400g mini topside roasting joint and 16 pigs in blankets are the meaty stars of the hamper.

It also contains 350g of streaky bacon, luxury sausage meat and 14 chipolata sausages for those carnivores who may worry they don’t have enough pork on the festive menu.

Looks like my family is in for a great Christmas.

And there’s also 1kg of roasting potatoes, 500g of carrots, 500g of parsnips, 500g of Brussels sprouts and a portion of sage and onion stuffing to ensure the veg and trimmings are all accounted for.

There’s not even any need to turn to the Bisto as a serving of turkey gravy also comes with the bumper selection.

All that is otherwise needed are drinks and puddings – but would anyone who has this be able to force another bite down?

The online retailer also offers many more seasonal food packages but this one is the most inexpensive and has been knocked down from £62.10 to give a 37% saving off the usual price.

Customers can also choose when they want their orders delivered between December 19 and December 23.

One person said in a review on trustpilot.com: “Lovely meat items.”

“Yet another marvellous hamper filled with the finest, freshest cuts of meat. Thoroughly enjoyed my first hamper and I know I’m going to enjoy this one just as much,” said another.

A third added: “Looks like my family is in for a great Christmas.”

YOUR HIGH STREER CHRISTMAS DRINKS COULD CONTAIN AS MUCH SUGAR AS 5 KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS. To put this into perspective, an original glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme contains 12.6 grams of sugar – Your Christmas Belgian Truffle Hot Chocolate contains around 67g of SUGAR. So we know its Christmas – and those christmas specicals are all over the high street and festive coffee drinks can seem a harmless choice compared to a mince pie, however that famous line 'ahh its ok it's Christmas' can start as early as November and those innocent drinks can add up The government recommends adults consume no more than 30g a day these drinks contain nearly DOUBLE this. How obvious are liquid calories? You pick up an innocent hot drink because it's a daily Christmas tradition, however, it could contain MORE CALORIES and SUGAR than you expect and over the December period these can add up. *Sugar nutritionals from https://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/food/food-news/sugar-in-christmas-drinks-458431?fbclid=IwAR3uOjWSmmeyMJmeasjHoKC81gZ7hAaBOJNG9xvJsXf0RznNeuE_EPrZXxA
