McMuffin fans rejoice as fast-food giant McDonald’s extends its breakfast hours

It’s the breakfast staple that’s often the only way to cure a hangover.

Now, as Christmas party season approaches, McDonald’s has good news for fans of its McMuffins.

Yes, hash brown fans, the fast food chain has announced that it is extending its breakfast time in all UK and Ireland restaurants.

Breakfast is currently served till 10.30am in all of McDonald’s 1,249 UK restaurants.

However, if it’s the morning after the night before and you’re suffering from an epic hangover, chances are you’ll miss the breakfast cut-off point.

You’ll also be able to order your hash browns on Uber Eats till 10.45am (Credit: McDonald’s)

Not any more as, after a successful trial, the Golden Arches will now serve breakfast till 11am.

It’s a half-hour extension to their 10.30am breakfast cut-off.

And, if you really can’t drag yourself out of bed and to your nearest Maccy D’s, you’ll be able to place a breakfast order on Uber Eats till 10.45am.

The new timings start next week (November 20).

A McDonald’s rep said: “We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes.”

They added: “We have listened to our customers’ pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am.”
