“Available at Poppies Soho only, these battered beauties are a Christmas indulgence we know you’ll want to try… Come and get ’em from December 1st.”

The chocolates included are the toffee finger, chocolate caramel brownie, strawberry delight, toffee penny, orange crème, the green triangle, fudge, orange chocolate crunch, milk chocolate block, caramel swirl and coconut Eclair.

Last month, we revealed that fish and chip shop Adam’s Bay in Gainsborough is selling a range of deep fried chocolate treats.

The shop has introduced deep fried jumbo pigs in blankets, deep fried mince pies, a deep fried Christmas tree onion stack and deep fried sprouts to customers alongside their permanent dishes in the run up to December 25th.

Owner Helena Papadamou told the Grimsby Telegraph: “We have become known as the chip shop who sells the wacky creations.
