Costa has released details of its festive menu and all our Christmases have come at once.

Yes, the holidays are most definitely coming – and the coffee shop’s festive cups are here to prove it.

This year’s cups feature images of Santa, reindeers, penguins and bears in festive reds and the cups are even sprinkled with snow.

And we are even more excited about what’s going to be inside them when the new limited-edition line launches in stores on November 1.

New for this year is the Irish Velvet range, infused with caramel and vanilla and billed as “the taste of Christmas in a cup”. Choose from the Irish Velvet latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate or frostino.

And, in even better news, the brand revealed that the latte and hot chocolate will be available in Costa Express machines.

If you’re a fan of sugar, spice and all things nice, then the new Festive Spiced Cappuccino will grant all your Christmas wishes. It’s infused with aromatic spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise.

The new festive showstoppers join Costa’s returning fan favourites, including the Black Forest & Cream Hot Chocolate.

And with every coffee must come a cake, and none look more delicious than the new Black & White Forest Wreath Cake – an unmistakably festive treat consisting of chocolate sponge with sweetened cherries topped with buttercream, sour cherries and dark chocolate.

There’s also a Salted Caramel Yule Log, the Clementine & Mascarpone Loaf Cake and the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin – which is filled with chocolate orange sauce and topped with a delicious segment of the iconic Christmas treat.

Christmas is always such a magical time of year at Costa.

A Costa rep revealed: “The new Irish Velvet family is sure to be a big hit and the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin will be making thousands of chocoholics’ wishes come true.”

The vegan range is bigger than ever before too. Start with the Veggies Under Vest Sandwich – a vegan lunch option filled with falafel and parsnip stuffing, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and fresh spinach – before tucking into the vegan Mince Tart, Rocky Road or Rich Fruit Christmas Cake Slice.

Costa has also updated its sandwich menu, with the new British Turkey & Trimmings Toastie and British Turkey Feast Baguette – jam-packed with succulent turkey breast, British Beechwood smoked bacon, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce – hitting stores near you soon.

Returning fan favourites in the savoury line include the raved-about British Pigs & Blankets Mac & Cheese, British Beef & Caramelised Onion Baguette and Brie, Bacon & Cranberry Panini.

“Christmas is always such a magical time of year at Costa,” said the rep. “We hope families and friends are inspired to come together and enjoy a Christmas treat in-store this season.”
