Aldi reduces the price of its prosecco to £3.99 a bottle just in time for Christmas

We have some good news if you’re looking forward to enjoying a festive glass of fizz over Christmas.

Now you can get a bottle of the stuff at a seriously bargain price.

With the sound of corks popping all around us, supermarket Aldi has slashed the price of its 750ml bottle of prosecco.

It previously sold at £4.99 a bottle, but the bargain store has taken £1 off the price.

So now you can snap up a bottle of Aldi’s Vino Frizzante for just £3.99 a bottle.

Christmas really has come early!

It’s on special offer till the end of the year, so your New Year’s Eve could also go with a bang if you stock up now.

“This is not a drill,” said one person on Twitter. “Aldi is selling prosecco for £4!”

Back in October, Aldi revealed it would be stocking its six-litre bottle of prosecco again for Christmas 2019.

It costs £99 and is enough to fill 96 glasses!
