Vicky Pattison makes shocking mistake on jungle show!

Oh dear, viewers weren't terribly impressed by the ex Geordie Shore star's performance!

Oh dear, the viewers have spoken. And if the ones who have been bothered to take to social media are concerned Vicky Pattison was a “total disaster” on  I’m A Celebrity! Extra Camp.

Mean-spirited telly watchers bandied together to hurl abuse at the Geordie Shore star’s presenting skills, branding her “awkward” and “cringey” in her first role as a host.

While many thought our Vic was “trying too hard” and “acting” on the show, many were appalled when during a phone-in, she accidentally referred to her show as “the Xtra Factor”, the music spin-off show that had been on just minutes before Extra Camp had started.

While her show mates – comedian Chris Ramsey, and former I’m A Celeb victors Joe Swash and girlfriend Stacey Solomon – burst into laughter at her faux pas, viewers were less kind and demanded that previous presenter Laura Whitmore be reinstated.

Salisbury-Blues said: “#ImACeleb #ExtraCamp Bring back @thewhitmore , Shocking Shocking Shocking @VickyPattison is not a presenter.”

Rich Cross also said:  Someone’s gotta say it… @VickyPattison ain’t got nothing on @thewhitmore #ExtraCamp #ImACeleb @imacelebrity @itv2

While cheekily quipped: “That moment @VickyPattison lets @Rylan know hes been replaced on next years #XtraFactorLive #ImACeleb #ExtraCamp”

Callummm said: “I love Vicky Pattison to pieces but she’s making me cringe so much watching her on Extra Camp.

Derek cheekily sniped: “Extra Camp have come up with he toughest task to date. Try and watch Vicky Pattison for more than five minutes. Get Me Outta Here.

Even Xtra Factor host Rylan got in on the act, albeit it with more humour, joshing: “Babe you work on “Extra Camp” @VickyPattison ….. stop trying to be me girl!”

But not one to let a mistake get to her, after the show put her hands up and make a joke of her slip up, writing: “Note to self: You work on Extra Camp Vicky…. EXTRA CAMP!!!! #balls #ohwell #show1inthebag”

Of course, while most moaning minnies were pretty vocal about Vicky’s shaky debut performance – though let’s be fair, presenting is still new to her, and Stacey AND Joe AND Chris – many of her fans were keen to support her, showering her with loads of praise.

If you missed out on her shaky first time, catch up on Extra Factor – whoops, we mean Extra Camp – or watch the second episode tonight on ITV2 and make your own decision about whether or not Vicky will make it back on to the panel next year!
