Simon Cowell BLASTS Nicole Scherzinger in X Factor six chair challenge row

Someone is getting stressy!

| Updated:

That X Factor six chair challenge has caused major trouble ever since it first popped up and this series the stress levels are higher than ever!

Show insiders say Simon Cowell completely loses it with fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, when she struggles to choose someone to fill the final sought after seat.

Apparently she even gets two of the boys to sing twice but still can’t make up her mind!

The audience leapt to their feet for wannabe Luca but the former Pussycat Dolls singer still couldn’t work out who to pick.

She tells the crowd: “You guys are making this really hard.”

Viewers this weekend will see Simon Cowell go off like a pop-rocket over the flip-flopping, exploding; “Why’s it hard? There’s only one boy standing there. One seat, one boy.”

And that’s not the only time Nicole gets stuck, with two more performances causing chaos.

An X Factor mole said: “Nicole is a perfectionist and wanted to make sure she picked the right six boys.

“This meant she asked them to sing again so she could be sure.”

This is the latest eruption during six chair filming which has been rocked by endless delays to filming, angry crowds and half-filled studios.

Sharon Osbourne delayed recording for three hours because she was frightened by the fury of the audience over her choices.

Producers had to do take after take of the audience cheering, booing and chanting to make it look like they were still awake enough to react.

The Xtra Factor Live host Rylan Clark-Neal even revealed that Simon fell asleep!

Only 60 contestants are left in the show now and this weekend they’ll perform in front of a live audience for the first time this series.

The lucky six will get one of the coveted seats but getting you posterior on one of them is no guarantee.

If the next challenger is better than you, you’re bumped off!

Remember the previous tears, tantrums, twitter storms and upsets like Janet Grogan who was biffed from her chair by Simon in 2014?

We’ll have to watch to see if she can go one better this weekend!
