Mario Falcone reveals NEW NOSE on This Morning after years of bullying

The TOWIE hunk was fed up of the cruel jibes

| Updated:

The Only Way Is Essex star Mario Falcone has admitted that he had a nose job after cruel trolls mocked him on Twitter.

Fans even set up Twitter accounts for his nose after his co-stars James Argent and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith made a dig about it on the show.

Showing off his new nose on ITV’s This Morning, he said: “I’m really happy [that it’s subtle] I didn’t want to change the size, I’m Italian so I wanted to keep my Italian heritage, I’m very proud of that. But there were little bits I didn’t like.”

He added: “I broke it when I was younger playing football so it was always quite wide there [at the top] so that was slimmed down and the tip’s been narrowed too and lifted a little bit, but it’s still quite swollen now.”

His former co-star Ferne McCann joined him on the sofa to discuss the surgery after she also had a nose job earlier this year.

Ferne said: “I thought he was handsome – he’s even more handsome now – but I did think ‘no, you don’t need it done’… then you get the negative comments…and now, I feel so confident and now really happy.”

Mario added: “I used to hate taking selfies… and I used to hate pictures, but now….”

He recalled the moment on the show that caused him to lose confidence, saying: “I had no problem with my nose [before]… but I had a disagreement with Arg and Diags and they said something about my nose.

“Look, they are not vindictive, they would’ve said it in jest… It was a long time ago, but it wasn’t very nice.

“And it was just something that was playing on my mind. And in other scenes my nose kept being brought up.”

He added: “Then everyone jumped on the band wagon – there were Twitter accounts for my nose! It had more followers than me too!

“Women speak more openly about these things than men do, but men still have insecurities and things we don’t like about ourselves… everyone wants to look their best.”

We thought you looked lovely before Mario but if it makes you happy, then so be it!
