Love Island’s Jamie Hewitt accused of hiding girlfriend to join show

Is Jamie being honest?

We hope this isn’t true, but Love Island hunk Jamie Hewitt – the gorgeous guy who’s made Camilla Thurlow feel a million dollars – is being accused of lying about being single to get on Love Island.

It’s been reported he kept his girlfriend under wraps until the producers told him he was going to star on the show.

Then he apparently cruelly dumped beautiful shop worker Georgia Hayden so he could become a contestant in Spain and bed any girl he wanted.

According to a source, he ditched Georgia two hours before going to the airport and he did it on the phone.

Apparently Jamie told Georgia it was “just a game show” and that he wasn’t interested in meeting anyone.

But 27-year-old Calvin Klein model Jamie bedded Camilla Thurlow just a fortnight after he started filming.

Now Jamie and Camilla are favourites to win, stealing the lead from Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen.

One of 22-year-old Georgia’s mates has told The Sun: “One night they were sat watching Love Island together, slagging off all the girls.

“Five days later he was in the villa trying to bed them. It made her feel worthless.

“To make sure he got the part she thinks Jamie let producers believe he was not in a relationship.

“One of the things Georgia always found so sexy about Jamie was his honesty. It turns out it was all one big act.”

As well as working in a shop, stunning Georgia is the current Miss Chelmsford International.

She fell for Jamie after meeting him in Essex through a friend and they fell for each other straight away.

According to this friend of hers, Georgia thought she had something special with her new man and, so they say, he told her he loved her.

Now she’s been left in pieces after she saw that Jamie had slept with Camilla, and hearing her gossiping to the girls about his “perfect penis”.

Word goes, she was in such an emotional state after seeing what was going on in the Spanish sex resort, she had a full-on panic attack and had to leave work.

But there’s always two sides to any reality TV story and this one is no different.

Jamie’s mum, Jenny, has stood up for her boy, saying that actually Georgia’s friend has it all wrong.

According to mum, Jamie and Georgia never had anything serious going on at all, they were just having some fun and it was only early days.

Not just that, Jenny says her boy was the victim, not the other way round and Georgia dumped him.

So far, ITV2 have made no comment on the allegations that at least one of its ‘singletons’ might have been pulling the wool over their eyes.
