Good Morning Britain viewers gutted as Piers Morgan is REPLACED

It seems that he's got quite the fan base now!

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan was missing from their sofa’s this morning, and people are not happy.

Susanna Reid took to her Twitter account just before Monday’s show started and shared a photo of herself, Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins.

She captioned it: “Your Monday team

“It’s #NationalSickieDay but @piersmorgan insists he’s work hard elsewhere.”

How is it now that people actually WANT to see Piers on their screens?

Oh how times have changed…

Last week, the gobby journalist announced that he was taking a two-week break from the morning show to film his chat show.

Ben Shephard is currently taking his place, but viewers weren’t too happy about this.

Some fans even threatened to boycott the show in his absence.

One said: “I miss you…”

We bet Piers is LOVING this.

Another said: “@piersmorgan where are u? I turn on my TV and u are not there… #upset #bestpartofmyday #GMB not a happy viewer.”

Then another said they wouldn’t be watching the TV until he was back on and wrote: “Can’t watch @GMB if @piersmorgan isn’t on it! Will have to stick with the radio tomorrow! #comebacksoon.”

Mr Morgan spent last night tweeting about the Super Bowl and said: “BOOOOOOOOOOM! Patriots win. Brady wins. Greatest comeback of all time. Wow. Wow. Wow.”

Last week, Piers announced his two week break on GMB and seemed happy about have a couple of weeks off!

The 51-year-old said: “I’m off for two weeks! I’m going off to film my primetime show and then I’ll be back again to help out with this morning show.”

Hilariously, Susanna and Richard sat there with raised eyebrows, and Piers told the viewers: “Don’t miss me too much.”
