This is a TV first and will have everybody wondering if the duo are in fact related to each other!

“Tracing our ancestors using pioneering DNA methods has been a fascinating and emotional process so far,” they said.

“We have discovered some amazing things which have shocked and surprised us and we still have hundreds of years to uncover! We are looking forward to sharing our journey with the audience.”

The duo, both aged 41, will see the latest innovations in DNA science and technology to find their ancestors from thousands of years ago. The analysis will also reveal the exact breakdown of their ethnic makeup and a map of their genetic pasts.

It’s set to “go back further in time than any show has done before”.
