X Factor viewers convinced they have proof this weekend was FIXED

It seems like nothing went right this weekend

X Factor has been hit by controversy once again, as fans accused producers of “fixing” the live episode on Twitter.

Viewers noticed certain acts were holding a microphone – and that they seemed to coincidentally be the ones who were then announced to be in the bottom three…

Groups, United Vibe and Acacia and Aaliyah, and solo act, Molly Scott were all revealed to be in the bottom, while the rest of the contestants – who just seemed to be holding hands with one another – were revealed to be safe.

Eagle-eyed viewers weren’t happy, with one person tweeting: “United Vibe and Acacia & Aaliyah are holding microphones and yet no other act is?? @TheXFactor 🤔”.

Another wrote: “Literally!!! Such a fix they must know already otherwise why would they be holding them?!?!”

A third tweeted: “x factor is such a fix”, while a fourth added: “Fix fix fix”.

Someone else also accused the show of being shady with the app, writing: “If it’s not a fix, where are both @vibe5OFFICIAL & Molly on the app for rating their performances? 🤔 this was before the results #xfactor”.

While another fan lamented: “Gutted how X factor isn’t how it used to be”.

ED! has contacted X Factor reps for comment, but The Mirror reports the show “vehemently denied” any fix claims, insisting that all acts had mics.

It was a tricky weekend on the show for producers, as sound issues forced them to cancel the public vote on Saturday.

Viewers laughed that the sound problem made the contestants and judges – Simon Cowell, Ayda Field, Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson – sound like “Daleks”.

A message on the screen read: “We are sorry for the temporary interference in sound.”

Later it read: “Due to a technical issue, tonight’s vote has been cancelled. It will open in tomorrow night’s show.”

Show bosses then worked to pull together an “emergency plan” for Sunday’s episode.

A spokesperson for the show told ED!: “Each of last night’s performances from our 12 contestants will be played out in full on tonight’s X Factor before the public vote opens.

“This follows the sound issues on part of last night’s show.”

Poor X Factor, it seems like nothing can go right. Let’s hope things improve in time for next weekend’s show.
