X Factor fans sent into a spin as bosses release first Celebrity version teaser

The celebrity version is 'coming' and fans can't wait

Bosses at The X Factor have whipped fans into a frenzy by releasing their first teaser clip for the celebrity version of the show.

The popular programme has been completely overhauled this year and the new spin-off will feature a full line-up of famous faces.

Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh has confirmed he is making a comeback, while this week host Dermot O’Leary said he “admired Simon Cowell” for changing the format.

Now, execs have unveiled the first advert for the show, telling fans on Instagram: “It’s time for something different… #XFactor.”

Featuring a gold ‘X Celebrity’ logo, the short video states: “It’s coming…”

Commenting on the official X Factor Instagram page, one excited fan wrote: “OMGGG YAASS.”

Another added: “Finally, something different.”

A third said: “It’s actually real!!!!”

Talk of a Celebrity X Factor has been going on for months and, although the line-up is yet to be confirmed, several names have been thrown into the mix.

Gemma Collins has denied she will be taking part after the rumour mill went into overdrive, while EastEnders actor Jonny Labey, former TOWIE star Megan McKenna and movie hardman Vinnie Jones have all been tipped to appear.

Confirming his place on the judging panel, Louis Walsh recently told The Mirror: “We haven’t been told who the celebrities are, I’ve just read bits in the papers.

“They want it to be a surprise to us when they walk out. It’s going to be great.”

Louis also said former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger will be joining him on the panel, although she is yet to confirm her place on the show.

Meanwhile, earlier this week Dermot appeared on This Morning and spoke briefly about Celebrity X Factor.

Host Phillip Schofield said: “We’ve got the Celebrity X Factor not far off.

“When that was first announced I thought, ‘That’s a risk!'”

Laughing, Dermot replied: “You’re not the only one! I think we all did.

“One thing I’ve always thought about Simon is that you don’t have to agree with him all the time, but I admire his bravery.

“I admire the fact he’s gone, ‘You know what, let’s give it a go’.”
