Neil Jones has hit back at claims he laughed at ex Katya Jones’ fall on last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing.
During her cha cha performance with BBC Breakfast sports presenter Mike Bushell, professional dancer Katya slipped on the dance floor.

She also took a tumble again as she and Mike went to speak to host Claudia Winkleman, however, Katya confirmed on Twitter that her second fall was “on purpose”.
As she and Mike ran up the stairs to talk with Claudia, her fellow pro dancers were seen laughing including her ex Neil.
Now, Neil has insisted he and the other dancers were not “laughing at” Katya’s fall.
He wrote on Twitter on Monday: “So everyone is clear no one was [laughing] at @Mrs_katjones fall on Saturday.
“We were [laughing] at the fact she styled it out and still made @mikebreakfast finish the routine and then we all said fall when she got into Claudia’s area so she did as a joke and that’s why we were again.”

Fans supported Neil, with one tweeting: “I can’t believe you’ve even had to clarify this, people will create drama out of anything.”
Another wrote: “That was clear for everyone to see Neil. This is the just nasty, vile trolls who like to make a story when there is none.”
A third said: “Sad you actually have to clarify this! Some people (actually a lot of people) make dramas out of anything and nothing!”
At the weekend, Katya poked fun at her fall on Twitter.
Alongside a video of the moment, the dancer said: “Guys! This is so hilarious! Me trying to hold on to @mikebreakfast tie! And then all I cared about is him finishing the routine, so I kept shouting – go! Go! Finish it!!”

Straight after the fall, Katya tweeted: “Guys! I’m totally fine! No idea what happened. So sorry. But so proud of @mikebreakfast for carrying on and delivering ‘the dolphin’!
“FYI I did it again on purpose in Claudia’s area! And im def not drunk as some people think.”
