Strictly Come Dancing fans have urged Stacey Dooley not to repeat last night’s cheeky “kiss” with professional partner Kevin Clifton.
The pair pretended to lock lips at the end of their Couple’s Choice street/commercial routine while the pro-dancer held up his hat to hide their faces from view.
In fact, Kevin used the moment to tell the investigative TV journalist how “proud” he was after she overcame a painful rib injury in training last week to perform live on Saturday night.

But the moment was so realistic and touching that some fans suggested the pair should get together romantically, with one viewer saying they had “never seen Kevin look so happy”.
Others, though, warned them of the dangers following Seann Walsh’s exit last weekend after he was photographed kissing married partner Katya Jones.

One tweeted: “Don’t kiss her behind the hat, Kevin; you know what happened to Seann.”
Another posted: “Imagine tomorrow’s papers with what happens behind the hat.”
A third wrote: “That hat was remarkably still then. I’m sensing someone shared a smooch.”

Stacey’s injury forced her to miss two days of training and required a visit to hospital.
But she performed brilliantly and received a score of nine from all four judges, placing her third on the leaderboard.
