Strictly Come Dancing: Karim Zeroual scores the series’ first 40

Some viewers are unhappy that Kelvin Fletcher didn't get the same!

| Updated:

We’ve had to wait for the quarter final of Strictly Come Dancing for judge Craig Revel Horwood to get his 10 paddle out.

And Karim Zeroual with pro partner Amy Dowden was the recipient.

After their performance tonight, a Jive, Tess questioned whether Craig might finally dish out full marks.

He was his usual stony face, before he stood up and said: “It’s such a terrible shame darling, it really is.”

Karim and Amy hugged as they realised he was praising them, and then held up the 10.

Motsi Mabuse gave Karim her 10 panel before he had even left the dance floor!

She told him: “I can’t sit down, I’m shaking, I feel like I just did that dance.”

Bruno Tonioli added: “I’ve got shivers, that was a mind blowing bravura performance.

Many viewers were relieved to see a 40 finally… and happy Karim was awarded it.

Others were not so sure…

And others were annoyed that Craig didn’t give Kelvin and Oti a 10, to get them to a 40.
