Prepare your OUCH faces, Strictly Come Dancing fans, because Kevin Clifton just got himself tattooed LIVE on This Morning.
The professional dancer appeared on Monday’s episode, to fulfil a bet he had with previous Strictly contestant Susan Calman – and it saw him getting the words “I love Glasgow” inked on his FOOT.
This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield spoke to the TV star – who won the last series alongside Stacey Dooley – about the decision, before sending him off to see the tattoo artist.
Kevin, 36, told them how he had promised the Scottish comedian he would get the words on him if they got through to the Blackpool stages in 2017 – which they did.
As he left the set, Kevin muttered: “Hope it doesn’t hurt,” as Phil turned to mum-of-three Holly, to say: “It IS going to hurt.”
“But he’s a dancer,” exclaimed Holly, 37, looking horrified. “How’s he going to dance? What have we done?” Phil replied: “We haven’t done it!”
The dancer – who announced the end of his marriage to fellow dancer Karen Clifton last year – was seen getting the tattoo done and the presenters returned to him later, as Kevin announced: “We’ve done it! I’ve got ‘I love Glasgow’ on my foot!”
Holly gasped as the camera zoomed in, saying: Ooh, it’s quite a biggie, isn’t it? It goes down the whole foot. Are you regretting it or are you happy?”
He told her: “No, I’m really happy! At the moment I’m loving it. I think it looks really good actually. When it first started, I thought, ‘This is really really painful, like the worst pain I’ve ever experienced’.”
He added that he soon got used to it and added: “I’m going to go for broke now. I’m going to get all my arms done, get my face…”
Phil, 56, jokingly asked: “All with ‘I love Glasgow’?!” as Kevin replied: “Yeah! All over me!”
Holly called him a “great sport” as she and Phil giggled.

This Morning posted a clip of the chat on Twitter, writing: “‘I hope it doesn’t hurt!’ @keviclifton is coming good on his @bbcstrictly pact with @SusanCalman and having an I ❤️ Glasgow tattoo on the bottom of his foot – we hope it doesn’t hurt either Kevin!”

Fans of the dancer, who is appearing in the new West End show Rock of Ages, rushed to comment on the decision, with one writing: “Well done King Kev!! Many Kudos doing that for your bestie! #friendsforever #kingkev #rockofages.”
Another said: “Good Man, stuck to your agreement and had the tat!” while a third added: “Well done Kevin from this Glasgow girl.”

Others worried about how it might impact his new job on the stage, writing: “Awkward moment when Kevin can’t do rock of ages because of tattoo pain. Good luck Kev.”
