Zoe Ball wears ‘B’ necklace on TV, sparking tribute rumors to late boyfriend Billy Yates

The star's partner tragically took his own life in May

Zoe Ball has been seen wearing a ‘B’ necklace on Strictly Come Dancing’s spinoff show, sparking speculation it’s a quiet tribute to her late boyfriend.

The presenter wore the gold chain on Wednesday’s episode of It Takes Two, leading some to believe it’s in memory of Billy Yates, who passed away in May.

He was found dead in his London home at just 40 years old.

Zoe has not made any reference to the necklace, however, and the B could stand for her own surname.

She has previously paid tribute to Billy by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with his face and the phrase: “King of Hearts.”

Zoe has also been sporting a new pink rose tattoo on her left arm which, again, could be a tribute to Billy.

Following his death, she posted pictures of pink flowers to Instagram, with one featuring the caption: “This beauty in my garden. Thinking of everyone dealing with grief and loss at this time.”

Another flower snap had the message: “My sweet love.”

Cameraman Billy, who worked on programmes including the Antiques Roadshow, took his own life in May.

Zoe paid tribute to him in September, on what would have been his 41st birthday.

Alongside a touching photo of Billy on holiday in India, she wrote: “Happy birthday Little Wonder, @billywahweewoo my dearest Babyface, my love, my Snoops, up there in the stars.

“Pictured here all a glow lighting a lantern in Goa for Ali McBossy also in the stars.”

“I will be holding tight today to those who love your bones & miss your wondrous ways. We will climb your tower & eat Mr Fu’s Salt & Pepper Chicken wings & cry & hug & dance & laugh & do your bendy thumbs up & tell your tales & never ever stop loving you Billy William Biwwy Billface.”

She added a series of hashtags referring to mental health awareness and encouraging people to “keep talking.”

Zoe found love with Billy after her 18-year marriage to Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, ended.

Following his death, an insider had told The Sun: “Zoe is overcome with grief. She is completely and utterly devastated.

“Billy had made her happy again after the most horrendous year when her marriage broke down.”
