Boyband star rumoured to be lined up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing

It's not that time already, is it?!

It feels like the last series of Strictly Come Dancing has only just finished, but already the rumours about who is being considered for the next series have started.

And first in the rumour line is former X Factor star Josh Cuthbert.

A source has revealed to The Sun that the 25-year-old singer and model could win over female fans on the show.

And according to the rumours, the show’s bosses are hoping he could have the same influence on fans as former winner and boybander, McFly’s Harry Judd when he took part in the show in 2012.

The source revealed: “Josh has caught the eyes of producers and they’re seeing if he could take part. He could easily be a fan favourite.

“He’s young, in good shape and can dance. He’d be a strong signing.”

25 year old Josh got his first break when he auditioned for The X Factor back in 2012, alongside his band mates Jaymi Hensley and JJ Hamblett when they were known as Triple J.

At the Judges request, they added solo singer George Shelley to the group to become a foursome, and came fourth in the series where James Arthur went on to win.

Since they left the show, Union J went on to have several top ten hits and a top ten album.

In between commitments with the band, Josh has got engaged to girlfriend Chloe Lloyd, signed up with Select Model Management and become a fitness guru.

The star has written a new book called The Shift 56 System encouraging people to live a leaner, happier healthier life in just 8 weeks!

Something we reckon, will put him in good stead should he decide to say yes to the producers of Strictly.
