A tweet about week one’s Strictly Come Dancing has gone viral after a viewer cheekily compared one of the show’s couples to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Football pundit Alex Scott and her professional partner, the redheaded Neil Jones, are the lucky ones being likened to the royal couple.

The user wrote, “I can’t believe Meghan and Harry are on the BBC! #Strictly” and the jokey tweet quickly racked up over 800 likes.

Several commented on the post.
One admitted the tweet made her “laugh out loud” while another replied, “That is exactly what I said!” and a third joked, “BRILLIANT”.

She wasn’t the only one to see the comparison, as several others joked about the likeness.

And as for Alex and Neil’s performance, the pair had the daunting task of being the first to hit the dance floor on the first of the live Strictly episodes this series.
Dancing the quickstep to the classic ‘I Get a Kick Out of You,’ they earned 21 points and new judge Motsi Mabuse claimed they were “dangerous”.
“You look comfortable in the hold with Neil so I think we just need to work on your presentation, so [you] know it’s a show ‘I’ve got to put it on’.
“Then you’ve got all the goods we need, girl. You’re dangerous,” Motsi said.
