He made quite an impression in the I’m A Celebrity camp with his tiny red ‘budgie smugglers’, but Nick Knowles is said to have been so embarrassed by the jokes he has vowed to lose more weight.
The 56-year-old presenter lost two stone in the jungle, but he reportedly now wants to lose more.
A source told The Sun: “While most of the other campmates were saying they wanted to put weight back on after the jungle, Nick actually wants to lose another stone.”

They continued: “He didn’t like the way he was mocked when he put on the Speedos and wants to get back into training in the gym.
“He stays in shape because filming DIY SOS is tough, but he wants to get really ripped now for 2019.”

Nick previously admitted that his jungle weight loss had taken him by surprise.
Speaking on spin-off show Extra Camp, Nick revealed: “You honestly don’t realise how much weight you lose, I lost 14 kilos in five days. That’s almost a kilo a day you’re losing.”

However, the DIY SOS star looked unimpressed when host Joel Dommett made a joke about his tiny red pants – saying that the “studio is packed with more famous flesh than Nick Knowles swimwear”.
The dad-of-four, who has revealed he plans to wine and dine his ex girlfriend Rebecca Kearns, 23, when he returns home, explained: “I made the mistake of taking in white underpants.
“The red trouser and shorts you wear on the show are actually dyed red by the programme, so the first time you get wet, it dyes all your underwear.

“I couldn’t wear underwear, so the only thing I had was those.”
Nick’s sons Charlie and TJ also jumped to their dad’s defence, with Charlie telling the Loose Women: “I’m taking a lot of abuse from my mates at home, but if he’s got it, flaunt it, right?”
Meanwhile, during an appearance on This Morning last week, Nick said: “Can I publicly apologise for the red budgie smugglers? They were all I had left to wear.”
