Insiders have revealed the TV duo, both 43, have been filming the new promotional film for the ITV series, called 'Two men and a boat'.
It's said to set a light-hearted note for Ant's big return.
In the clip, the pair set sail for Australia but they get lost along the way and get caught up in extreme weather.
A source told The Sun: "The storyline for the promo is really funny. The boys are in a boat which has got lost on the way to Oz, it ends up going through all sorts of different continents and they get bombarded by bad weather, snow, rain, blistering sunshine and everything in between – before finally make their way to Australia in time to host the show.
"It's a big and very expensive set-up with masses of special effects, but they wanted it to be right — especially for Ant's return."
The insider added: "Ant is a huge part of the success of the series so everyone on the team was looking forward to working with him again."

This Morning's Holly Willoughby stood-in for Ant last year as he took time out from the spotlight. It came after he admitted to a battle with alcohol and prescription drugs after a knee operation left him in constant pain.
The lads' new ad will air later this year as bosses gear up to finalise the famous names for the new series.
