I’m A Celeb winner Harry Redknapp convinced Ian Wright will ‘blow soon’ as tensions rise in camp

He thinks the former footballer will get "hangry"

Harry Redknapp has said he thinks I’m A Celebrity‘s Ian Wright will “blow soon” in camp.

Tensions are rising in the jungle and earlier this week Ian clashed with campmate Andrew Maxwell over their crocodile dinner.

Harry, who won last year’s series, has said former footballer Ian has a “short fuse” and reckons he’ll get “hangry”.

Speaking to Piers Morgan at MailOnline and SportsMail’s A Pint With Piers event at the Hollywood Arms this week, Harry spoke about the campmates.

He said: “I like Kate [Garraway]! But I’d like Wrighty [Ian Wright] to win it – I think he’s gonna blow though.

“I know him better than anyone and he’s got a short fuse. He’ll get hangry!”

During Wednesday night’s episode, Ian snapped at comedian Andrew, who was trying to encourage the star to eat more food.

Ian insisted: “No I don’t want none,” to which Andrew replied: “Come on seriously Ian.”

Ian replied: “I really honestly don’t want no more. [James Haskell] needs it more than I would.”

Andrew pointed out: “There’s two Ian,” to which Ian said: “He can have another one if he wants. I don’t want no more.”

Andrew said: “Jesus, the drama. Just eat some!” to which Ian snapped: “I said I don’t want no more [expletive] crocodile bruv. I don’t want no more!”

In the Bush Telegraph, Ian said: “There’s nothing more frustrating then when you’re saying no to something and someone continues to ask you. It’s annoying.

“It’s only four days in and it’s already like that so we’re going to have to see how it goes because tensions and frustrations will creep in.

“That is where the test is going to come as well for me if people start to get on my nerves. Up to this point no-one has done that but it’s early doors.”

Andrew said in the Bush Telegraph: “I felt bad that I was pressurising [him] too much into eating it. He came back at me but I get it.”

Following the clash, viewers shared their thoughts on Twitter with many convinced Ian will end up quitting the show.

One person said: “I think Ian will quit by [the] end of [the] week #imaceleb,” while another wrote: “Idk why but I can see Ian quitting.”

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
