Bookies announce Harry Redknapp is red hot favourite to win I’m A Celeb

He's apparently "impossible to beat"

Harry Redknapp is the red hot favourite to win this year’s I’m A Celebrity, according to bookies William Hill.

Football manager Harry, 71, has made the entire nation fall in love with him thanks to his witty anecdotes, his enduring love for Sandra, and his bravery and humour when facing disgusting Bushtucker Trials.

And now, William Hill have taken three times as much money on Harry winning the show as they have done on the next best backed contestant, Nick Knowles.

The bookies have placed Harry’s odds of winning the show at 1/2.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: “With just a few days to go, Harry looks virtually impossible to beat.

“If people are voting for him to win with the same fervour as they are backing him, he is a racing certainty.”

As it stands, the odds suggest that Emily Atack is Harry’s closest rival as she’s the 5/1 second favourite ahead of Fleur East at 7/1.

Meanwhile, John Barrowman’s odds are at 10/1 to win while James McVey is at 14/1, Nick Knowles at 20/1 and Anne Hegerty at 25/1.

Harry left I’m A Celebrity viewers in tears on Tuesday night after he became emotional while receiving a letter from his wife Sandra.

The stars have now spent more than two weeks in the jungle away from their families and got to hear from them on last night’s episode.

Viewers have been hooked by the love affair between football manager Harry and his wife of 54 years, Sandra.

Sandra’s letter said: “I have always been proud of you but the last two weeks watching you has made me realise your strength and determination to succeed at anything life throws at you.

“But I never thought it would mean eating fish eyes! You have made us all proud. We miss you terribly but I am being well looked after by everybody. The family love you and are so proud of you. Love you always.”

It added: “PS jam roly poly is waiting!”
