Britain’s favourite retirement home residents, Mary and Marina, delighted viewers yet again on Friday night’s Gogglebox.
The OAP’s seemed utterly confounded as to how lesbians have sex as they marvelled at some very raunchy scenes in Gentleman Jack.
The BBC drama starring Suranne Jones, is set in Yorkshire in the 1830s and depicts the life and times of Britain’s first modern lesbian Anne Lister.

And as Suranne writhed in bed with her co-star Gemma Whelan, Mary and Marina appeared very confused indeed.
“What are they doing to each other then? Because I have never known what they actually did to each other?” 90-year-old Mary asked Marina, 83.
“Nor me, I’ve never been in that situation myself,” answered Marina.
“We’ve never lived, have we?” joked Mary.
“No!” a shocked Marina replied.
And of course the viewers at home couldn’t get enough at the friends comments, with many taking to Twitter to voice their appreciation.
One joked that it “wasn’t too late” while another quipped “now’s the time”.
Many others simply wrote how hilarious they found the St Monica Trust residents.

But this is by no means the first time that Marina and Mary have got a little saucy during their telly sessions.

In a past episode Marina confessed to Mary that she’d once had a penis waved in her face during a live Full Monty theatre performance.
“I went to one at The Millionaires Club and they come right up close to you.
“They dance on tables, so of course I was in the corner having a drink and a dancer came right up to me.
“My glasses went and then I had this great big [bleep] in my face!” she told a stunned Mary.
“Oh, I can’t believe that you said that!” Marina laughed.
The pals prove that age really is just a number, and that despite what they say, these two really have lived!
